A Prescription for Park Visits

Well, Scott, the English have once again outpaced the Americans. English doctors are now able to prescribe visits to the park for patients. This change in medical practice builds on a lot of research like this study of 160 people that showed a prescription for weekly visits to a park improved activity levels, mental health, and quality of life. Unfortunately, in the US, I still cannot write a prescription for a park visit, but, rumor has it, you can access them without my blessing. Not that I am giving medical advice, but it wouldn’t hurt to spend time outside in the next day or so. Keep thriving!
